About CEO - Tyler Bourns
Tyler Bourns has always had a strong passion for stories and found his calling in life at a young age. As an entrepreneur at heart, Tyler couldn't wait for opportunities to come to him so he decided to take matters into his own hands. At just 17 years old, he produced and directed a no-budget feature film (72 minutes), "Ashland," that went on to win awards at both the Indie Gathering and the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. This led into immediate professional work opportunities for various video production companies while still in High School.
After working on numerous television pilots as a Director of Photography and Editor, he directed a one-hour television special entitled "A Glimpse of Heaven and a Taste of Hell." It won a Silver Remi award at the WorldFest-Houston, along with a Bronze Telly Award and aired on Regional PBS in July 08'.
In 2007 he moved to Burbank, California, to further pursue his passion in film making. While there, Tyler took a full time job with McNulty Nielsen Productions where he worked on
over 100 professional productions in a myriad of capacities. He gained
significant experience and knowledge while working with prestigious
Directors and Actors such as David Fincher, Julia Roberts, Jane
Seymour, Sidney Poitier and numerous others.
In early 2010, Tyler founded Bourns Productions Inc. in Reno, Nevada. The companies goal and mission was to produce professional grade video production at an affordable price for everyone on from Large Corporations to small local businesses. The company has had the privilege to help many companies of all sizes with their video marketing and communication needs.
Although based out of Nevada, Bourns Productions does work nationwide including in the Los Angeles in conjunction with the great team at McNulty-Nielsen Productions.
Tyler recently directed Emmy Winning actor Bryan Cranston (See Above Picture) in a powerful Award Winning Anti-Meth PSA. Other recent projects include work for the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, The City of Fallon, GE Energy, Al Bernstein's Boxing Channel and numerous others.
